Job Description
Under the direction of Counselors, Volunteers have the responsibility to perform miscellaneous tasks throughout Crash and Learn 2024. Assigned duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assembling and disassembling canopies, whiteboards, and signs
- Carrying, setting up, and tearing down tables and chairs
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Regulating bonfires and extinguishing as necessary
- Engaging campers/attendees
- Monitoring for general safety and security concerns
Volunteers are expected to be courteous and displaying the following traits at all times:
- Strong work ethic
- Situational awareness to identify any and all needs
- Initiative to perform tasks in collaboration with others and without direct supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Physical fitness to perform formally mentioned duties in cold and hot temperatures
Volunteers are required to be onsite for 4-days, sign a Release of Liability form, and pay for personal travel and lodging needs. They must also refrain from excessive alcohol consumption. If a family member or friend wants to attend alongside the Volunteer, said family member or friend must acquire a General Admission ticket via standard purchasing options and cannot be onsite outside public hours.

You will be contacted via email once your application is reviewed. If approved, a series of virtual interviews will be conducted. Acceptance into the program includes the following:

*Volunteers that display insubordination or unprofessional behavior at any time will be dismissed from the conference, will not receive credit for attendance, and will be disqualified from future HLTH opportunities.
